Who I am

Welcome to my website.

I am the type of nervous, somewhat shy person who hates the ‘tell us all something about yourself’ at conferences, so this is difficult.

I have always written stories and poetry, but I rarely persisted with them; always had something else ‘more important’ to do! Now I have retired (I was a teacher and university lecturer), it seems there is nothing more important than my writing!

I live in the north west of England with my husband, a hyperactive Malinois, and four (yes, four!) cats.
